RoHS compliance (directive 2002/95/EC)
The European RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive came into force on 1 July 2006. This Directive, which aims to eliminate the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and flame retardants in certain electrical and electronic equipment sold in Europe, focuses mainly on household appliances.
Crouzet will fully comply with the directive.

REACH
(http://ec.europa.eu/enterprise/reach/index_en.htm)
The European Community REACH (Regulation, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals) regulation has been in force since 1 June 2007, replacing and supplementing earlier regulations in this area. It aims to list and assess most of the substances that are traded and used within the European Community.
CROUZET has set up a plan to ensure compliance with the
REACH regulation and is currently taking all the necessary measures.
Objective: To acquire excellent visibility on all the substances used in Crouzet's products and industrial processes and ensure that all the requirements of the REACH regulation are met.

The actions undertaken by CROUZET as part of this plan aim to provide you with all the information required by these regulations and to ensure supply chain continuity.
