We have a moral responsibility to protect the health and safety of all our staff and improve our environmental performance. This represents a major challenge for CROUZET.
Crouzet is commited to comply with environmental and health & safety requirements and go beyond them whenever possible, design products that are environmentally friendly ( drawing on a process of eco-design ), and involve and encourage everyone to take responsibility for the management of health, safety and the environment.
We achieve this by ...
- Engaging staff by their agreement, involvement and vigilance
- Managing by setting an example and their commitment to avoid making decisions that are detrimental to the health of employees
- Prevent environmental and occupational health risks:
- Making the procedure of identifying dangers and assessing health/safety/environmental risks a systematic part of the remit of those involved (staff, suppliers, Occupational Health Department, Health Safety and Working Conditions Committee, Regional Office for Industry Research and Development, etc.)
- Drawing up budgeted programmes for the prevention and reduction of occupational hazards and environmental impacts, in particular:
√ Striving for "zero accidents" and ensuring that working conditions are such that occupational diseases and health hazards are prevented
√ Optimizing our consumption of energy and natural resources
√ Minimizing the environmental impact of our sites (prevention of pollution, use of the best available techniques, etc.) - Raise awareness and train everyone to develop their skills, consolidate their experience and improve their behaviour and reactions in the fields of health/safety/environment
- Develop a policy of partnership with our customers, suppliers and all those involved, to reduce health/safety/environmental risks
- Improve our performance by a process of continuous improvement
