Creation of a centre of expertise at Alès in France

Based in Alès since 1971, Crouzet has chosen this site as the location to build its European centre of technical expertise for the Motors division of the Custom Sensors & Technologies (CST) group.

Due to be completed at the beginning of 2013, this new building (with a floor space of 4300 m²) will pool together the group’s expertise in the field of high-tech motors.

It will house offices and laboratories (1300 m²), a production workshop (2000 m²) for the assembly of small series, as well as storage facilities and adjacent premises (1000 m²).

Throughout the project, Crouzet’s focus has always been on its teams’ main assets. These include mastering of advanced technologies, an ability to manufacture electric motors suitable for high-end industrial applications, the expertise and experience of its product designers and top-notch quality. Ultimately, these assets are all about offering customers an exceptional level of added value.

From now on, this centre of expertise will ensure that all Crouzet motorisation products sold throughout the world are designed, developed and tested at Alès, home to a genuine wealth of experience in the fields of DC geared and motors, brushless motors and direct drive and geared motors, electronic controllers and actuators, among others. While waiting for the new premises to be built, the teams that have already been set up have managed to refine the new brushless and brush motors available for preview at the SPS/IPC/ Drives event.
