Selecting a geared motor
Make your selection on the basis of the desired output power for your geared motor:
Output power (W) = 2π/60 Nominal torque (Nm) . Nominal speed (rpm).

The geared motor should have output power at least equal to the desired output power.
Before making this selection, check that the operating point (geared motor output torque and speed) is below the geared motor nominal torque-speed curve. The desired gearbox output torque must be compatible with its maximum recommended torque in continuous operation.
