Aircraft applications

Control Wheels

The control wheel is used to fly fixed-wing aircraft. Crouzet's wide range of control wheels designs and pushbuttons enables us to provide quick and accurate responses to any customer's need or requirements.

Power Distribution

Crouzet proposes Circuit breakers pannels for regional jet, business jet and helicopter (military and civil)

Door

The proximity sensors are used to monitor the deployed/stowed position, opened/closed position of doors and latching mechanism.

Cargo Loading

Cargo loading systems help increase both cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency of passenger, freighter and military aircraft. The proximity sensors are used to monitor the position of the load.

Galley

Crouzet proposes Remote Control Circuit Breaker (RCCB) which merges a contactor function and a CB function. The RCCB has a status display window and a mechanical "TRIP indicator".

Thrust Reverser

Thrust reverser system contributes to slowing down the aircraft after touch-down, reducing brake wear out and enabling shorter landing distances. The proximity sensors are used to monitor the deployed or stowed position of the thrust reverser door.

Fuel pump protection

For safe operation, protection of electrical wiring is essential. Fuel tanks are protected from any ignition sources that could occur due to puncture caused by arcing. Crouzet proposes ground fault circuit breaker with arc fault which provides built-in test features that allow aircraft maintenance personal to verify that ground fault protection is functional or that a ground fault has occurred.

Landing gear

Landing Gear proximity sensors provide signals to monitor landing gear position (up or down) and gear doors (opened or closed). Weight on Wheels (WoW) switches indicate whether the weight of an aircraft is resting in its wheels. This information reveals wether the aircraft is airbone or on the ground.

Protection of composite structure

Crouzet proposes ground fault circuit breaker with arc fault which provides built-in test features that allow aircraft maintenance personal to verify that ground fault protection is functional or that a ground fault has occurred.

Flight controls

Flight control system interprets the pilot's commands and moves the flight controle surfaces (flap and slat) as necessary to achieve the desired response. The proximity sensors provide information about slats and flaps position for a stable flight.

Cargo Door

Crouzet proposes Remote Control Circuit Breaker (RCCB) which merges a contactor function and a CB function. The RCCB has a status display window and a mechanical "TRIP indicator". The switches detect the position of the manual selector valves, locking shaft, locking handle, safety shaft, and door sills.
